Thom Yorke’s The Eraser

I’ve had two weeks of listening to Thom Yorke?s new CD The Eraser. I love the sound as I have always been a fan of heavily textured music. It feels in may ways like Amnesiac. The Eraser definitely isn?t a poppy/mainstream type of CD. It really feels like you were just hanging out with Thom as he was just tinkering away, which isn?t a bad thing at all.

Often when I listen to a new CD there is usually a song or two that stand out; that stay in my head and find myself humming. I really didn?t get that out of the Eraser at first. After a few listens, though, “Black Swan” started to really burn into my head, especially the ?this is fucked up, fucked up.?

At first I really didn?t like it, but it has since grown on me and if you dig Radiohead?s more experimental stuff, I think you would enjoy The Eraser.
