The switch to digital television will go on as scheduled after the House yesterday blocked a bill to delay the date, saying postponing the action would only cause confusion for consumers and increase costs for broadcasters.
I agree with this. Let’s not kick the can down the road. There has been ample warning and if consumers are not ready by February 17, then you better believe if they will soon after. We really need to push ahead and move the technology forward and start abondoning obsolete formats.
