The Washington Post has a spectacular photo essay covering the journey of immigrants from Central America to the United States.

It’s definitely worth checking out here.

Along this vein, there is a great movie released last year that is really worth checking out by director Cary Joji Fukunaga, Sin Nombre, about a Mara Salvatrucha fugitive from Chiapas who flees to the United States traveling as a train stowaway who along the way gets involved with a young Honduran girl traveling with her family.
