Some have asked and yes I have to say that Google is the most gay-friendly place I have worked at. Google sponsors a Gaygler committee which allocated money for pride and other events in cities where Google has an office. Obviously benefits are extended to domestic partners and this year even started paying extra money to offset the lack of tax benefits afforded to gay couples. Other tech companies are following suit. I only hope the legal inequities will be resolved sooner than later.
