Anderson Cooper smacks down another teabag birther nutjob. Yeah yeah, Obama wasn’t born in the United States and the sun orbits around the earth. Can we stop arguing whether water is wet or down is up? I provide this just to demonstrate the ample deftness that exists in this country. So many care nothing of facts when they are right there before their eyes.
So 27% of Americans believe Obama wasn’t born in the United States. That really isn’t a big deal. Keep in mind that about a fifth of Americans will always be obscenely ignorant. After all, just ten years ago 20 percent of Americans were still sure that the sun revolved around the Earth.
