The Venn of Great Britain

With the Olympics shining a spotlight on London, there is no better time to address the confusion and errors often made in identifying the country known as the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Often Americans will make the mistake of using the terms England, Britain and The United Kingdom interchangeably. Unraveling these names can be a messy ordeal.
