I’m a Gen X gay Chicano who lives in beautiful Colorado. A native of El Paso, Texas and a self-identified pocho, a term used pejoratively but one that is worthy of reclaiming. I blog on technology, language, history, politics and anything else that captures my fascination. An ever-aspiring polymath, I find all manner of topics fascinating. As a result, this blog admittedly lacks focus and is informal in style, breaking the “narrow your focus/know you audience” rule of blogging. Don’t try this at home. It’s messy here.
I studied linguistics and classics at the University of Colorado at Boulder and am a technologist by day having worked for several tech companies including Google and Akamai and a few tech startups.
